The Adoption Process...

All of our dogs are vet checked prior to being put up for adoption. They are spayed or neutered, checked for heartworms and treated if necessary, and placed on preventative. They are also checked for parasites and all other health problems and treated if needed so we can assure a healthy, happy pet for your family. As a result of these costs, 4 the Hounds must ask for an adoption fee to help offset our expenses.

Our fee schedule is as follows:

Adult Dogs: $175.00
Basset mixes: $100.00
Seniors (over 8 years): $100.00>
Puppies (< 6 months): $200.00 plus $100.00 spay/neuter deposit.
(Deposit will be refunded upon presentation of proof of spay/neuter)

 

If you have viewed our dogs online and see one that you are interested in, please contact Gail Sutton for more information about the dog. After you have made your decision to adopt, you can either print an adoption form from this website, or you can contact Gail Sutton our adoption coordinator and she will mail one to you immediately. After your application is approved, you will be notified and arrangements will then be made for you to receive your new friend.
