April 2011 - We are all having
a blast with Ruby Sue!
She is such a playful sweetheart and is
getting along very well with her sister Maggie and brother Buster.
We love
her so much! Every morning she wakes us up with snuggly kisses.
She
definitely wins the race during meal times and out barks the others during "Hound
Idol."
Thank you so much with giving us the opportunity to take her home
with us.

She's getting on in years and her muzzle has grayed, but she is still the same lovable mischievous hound that Keith, Leah and Hamlet brought into their loving home a decade ago.

February 2011 - Here is Big Stan helping with shoveling the driveway!
Thank you for setting us up with an amazing dog. We have had Stanley for
about 2 weeks now and he is loving every minute of it. Beyond energetic
even though we have 8 inches of snow on the ground. He has brought tons of
energy to our house and we appreciate everything your rescue does!

February 2011 - Please meet sweet senior Daisy Mae. Daisy came from an abusive and neglectful
background. She was used as a breeder dog living outside with only a 55 gallon
drum turned on its side for shelter. She had many unattended health issues and
was in terrible pain. Thanks to Ozark Mountain Basset Rescue and 4 The Hounds
working together, Daisy in now a happy inside dog and part of her own herd of
hounds. She likes sleeping on her warm blanket & doggie bed with her new best friend
Little Bit and especially loves biscuit time!
Now Daisy will live out her life in comfort and love with the companionship of
her fellow hounds.

January 2011 - Milton with his Mom and buddy Ruffus. Milton is doing remarkably well.
